Our nature expert Betsy Taylor splits her time between Beijing and the Brookside Nature Center in Montgomery County, Maryland USA. When she's with us in Beijing, she keeps an eye out for interesting flora, fauna, and geographical features.
On a recent visit to Intelligence Valley Betsy spotted these brightly-coloured caterpillars, and a dragon fly nymph.
