Yugu Snow Mountain, Gansu Province (4 days)
Join a test trip to the Yugu Snow Mountain for hikes on the mountain and foothills, with three nights at basecamps on the mountain.

We’ve been working on this trip itinerary for a few months now, and here’s your chance to help us test it out. Originally planned as a private trip, it’s now open to Beijing Hikers members and friends.
| Day One main activities | Fly to Jiayuguan, lunch and walkabout, drive to Yugu Snow Mountain, dinner and overnight in huts at the lower base camp (1,800m elevation) |

| Day Two main activities | Drive up to the higher basecamp (4,000m elevation), 10km hike (return) up to the glacier from the 4,000m basecamp. Overnight in tents at the higher basecamp (or at the lower basecamp if feeling the altitude). |
| Day Three main activities | Hiking through canyons on the mountain, back to the lower base camp for lunch, more hiking after lunch, overnight in huts at the huts lower base camp. |
| Day Four main activities | Hiking in the Yugu Gorge, back to Jiayuguan for lunch, mid-afternoon flight to Beijing. |
