Privacy Policy

Details about the personal information we collect for bookings and through the website, and how we keep it private for you.

There's not much to say here—we don't do anything with any personal information supplied except use it to book you in on trips, or to send you an opt-in email newsletter.

Any information we collect from you is kept private.

Sometimes that information will be used for a purchase as part of an event or activity in which you will participate, for example, the purchase of insurance or flight tickets on your behalf. In this situation the information for this purchase will be shared with the suppliers of those services.

Our hiking guides will be supplied a list with your name and phone number so that they can contact you in the course of an event or activity in which you are participating. The lists are collected back again.

What information do we collect? Only what we need for the purposes of a booking with us, or to send you an email newsletter. If you do have any questions about how we use the information we collect, we're happy to let you know.

No spam or unsolicited email: We won't share your email address with anyone else, and we won't ever start sending you junk on behalf of other companies. All our email newsletters have a link that you can click to unsubscribe from the mailing list. Click the link, and it's done, easy!

On the website: Cookies are set by our Content Management System, and the Site Statistics software will set a few as well.

Tracking: We use Google Analytics to record various statistics about visits to the website, but there isn't anything in that which could be used to identify you personally. Google will, of course, have access to that information. More about Google Analytics and privacy.

Someone that met you on a hike wants to get in contact: If someone is trying to get in contact with you, we'll pass on to you their contact information and leave it up to you to decide whether or not to get in contact.
