Untitled Xiangshan ‘Fragrant Hills’ hike
Register your interest for a long hike through the West Mountains that finishes at Fragrant Hills for an early-evening look at the famous red leaves, hopefully avoiding big crowds on the way.
Fragrant Hills is famous for the spectacular show of red leaves in late autumn.
Being one of the closest parks to the main city area it also gets very, very crowded. And that’s on a regular weekend – when the red leaves are on show you can just imagine how many people are going to head out for a look.
On this hike, we’ll hike over from the other side of the hills, aiming to arrive later in the afternoon and avoid long lines for parking and tickets.
We’re currently figuring out the best place to start the hike while avoiding bad traffic and crowds.
