2016 Hiking Festival: Hike for Fun (Stone Valley Great Wall)
Hike for fun along a 10km course that visits villages, hills, and Great Wall on the way to the finish.
Challenge yourself ... a little bit!
With a bit of steep climbing up and down this isn’t a total walk in the park, but it’s not going to be so tough you’ll regret signing up. Make it more fun by hiking with your friends; suitable for fit kids ages 7 and up. Some exposure to heights.

2.5km / 271m ascent
Follow a paved path up from the main road and then take a turn for the hills on a dirt trail that leads up to the Great Wall.
Section 3
Up and down the Great Wall
4km / 131m ascent / 378m descent
Follow a rough and unrestored line of Great Wall up to a 1034m beacon tower and then down along a ridgeline. Some steep and slippery sections, with hill trail detours around the worst bits. Some exposure to heights, with a tricky descent.
Section 4
Field trails over the hill

Stroll on down a concrete road to Stone Valley Village, where your reward awaits. Congratulations!
