Our scouting trips often turn into a bit of a struggle, as we check all the trails to find out where not to take you on the hikes.
This trip was one of those—in the second half of the hike we encountered narrow trails with a dangerous amount of exposure to heights, and valley trails that had been completely washed away by the big rainfalls of July 2023.
The first half of the hike is good to go – as long was we can dodge all the pigs – but we’ll be going out again sometime to look for a different way to finish the big loop.
