Bashang Grasslands, 2026/07

50+ photos from a long weekend wandering the hills, valleys, and ridges at the Bashang Grasslands.

On this trip we did hikes on three days, based out of a village in the middle of the grasslands, with a mixture of weather and scenery.

One of the hikes took us by some of the local infrastructure.

Different (but related?) infrastructure.

Clear skies for this hike! (And less of the infrastructure.)

With a smaller group this time we went for the smaller portions for the BBQ dinner—still delicious!
