Camping at the Switchback Great Wall, 2018/05/12

The weather forecasts for the first day of this trip were a bit mixed, with some predicting drizzle in the morning, and others predicting a rain shower in the evening. But the forecast for the second day looked great, so we decided that we wouldn't let the chance of a little rain spoil our plans.

Which forecast was correct? It was the one that said we'd get a rain shower in the evening, and it came through just after we got the tents set up! We waited it out, and then enjoyed a lovely sunset from on top of the Great Wall.
