Hiking photos - Bashang Grassland, 2011/09/09
With temperatures 6–7°C lower than Beijing during the daytime, and 10°C lower in the evening, we experienced on this trip what Beijing will feel like in late autumn this year.
The scenery was a little different on this visit, with some autumn colours starting to show. There were still some flowers to see, as well as giant mushrooms!

We headed up into the rolling hills.

On a visit earlier in the year, the fields in the distance were full of yellow flowers.
We followed a trail along a ridge.
We took a break on top of the ridge.
Not so many flowers at this time of year, but still plenty of grass!
