We hiked through the recently renovated Longquanyu section of the Great Wall, finishing up at the Little West Lake. As well as Great Wall, we saw a lot of greenery under clear blue skies.
It was a warm day for a hike, but we had a pleasant breeze to cool us off.
We hiked through the recently renovated section, up to the point where the wall meets a steep rocky hill.
From there we detoured through orchards and made our way back to a mostly untouched section of wild wall.
After that, we walked out through the Little West Lake, a park area with a big reservoir.
