We’ve got a few trails on the wall in this area, and on this hike we did the version that makes a loop from Stone Valley village, hiking up roads and paths to find the Great Wall, and then following the wall back towards the village to finish.
The first part of the hike took us out the back of the village and on to a forested path that gradually rose up to meet the Great Wall.
We followed the wall up to the General’s Tower, a high point on the wall in this area.
From the high point we headed down all the way to a dip at a pass in the mountains, and then hiked back over a smaller hill to complete our loop.

We continued along the Great Wall. It’s in rough condition, and overgrown with grass and weeds.
