Floating Down the White River, 2015/08/16
See 30+ photos from our float and hike down the White River.
Here’s a fun way to stay cool in summer – take a wee float down the White River, and then hike the rest of the way, staying cool in the water.
We started with the rafting – a rather tame float downstream, passing below cliffs and through forested areas on inflatable rafts.
It’s a popular spot for rafting, and we got right into the middle of a water fight.
We floated for about an hour and a half, and then set off on foot. We followed trails beside the river, crossing over at fords and stopping for a swim midway.
