Gubeikou Great Wall.

Getting back to the wall after a hillside detour.

About halfway through the Gubeikou portion of the hike.

Looking back towards our start point on the Gubeikou Great Wall.

The wall snaked over the ridges, heading towards the distant towers of Simatai.

One of the big towers on the Simatai section of Great Wall.

We climbed up the wall, passing through the tallest towers of Simatai on the way to a tasty lunch at the end of the hike.
