Hiking photos – Yoga hike: Silver Pagodas to Lily Village, 2012/05/23
Recently we've started doing yoga hikes—heading out to scenic and serene places in the countryside, and taking a walk to a peaceful spot to do a session or two of yoga. On this trip, we were hiking around the Silver Pagodas area.
We began the hike in a small countryside village, and took a shortcut through our local guide's chestnut and walnut orchard. Our local guide, Mr Meng, brought along some tasty organically-grown cherries for us to try out. He said that the cherry trees were planted more than 200 years ago, by residents of a nunnery that was in the area in those times.
Our first yoga session was at the Silver Pagodas, an extremely nice place to relax. After the first session, we climbed the stairs up to the top of the Silver Pagoda mountain, and did more yoga at the peak.
We finished at the Hot Springs hotel nearby, with another session of yoga followed by a very late lunch!

It's very nice to have a good stretch, especially after a hike.
