For our Kids Club Early Christmas celebration we did a short hike and then headed to a cosy countryside courtyard to make gingerbread cookies with Chef Cindy—see 23 photos.

This outing was a joint production: a gingerbread making and baking lesson from Chef Cindy of catering crew Be Our Guest; a courtyard venue courtesy of Huijie’s art school classmate’s village connections; and a new hiking trail suggested by one of the teachers at the village primary school. Phew!
The hike took us up to the firewarden hut on a nearby peak, but our photographer and 4-year-old assistant didn’t make it up quite that far.
