Day 1: 'Prove Your Loyalty' hike
We hiked out the back of a secluded scenic area and up into the hills. After the hike we headed around to the 'East Beijing Grand Canyon' for more walking.
Countryside hotel overnight
We didn't stay at the abandoned hotel!
Yellow Pines Peak hike
We did a short-but-steep hike after breakfast.
Dragon-boating
After lunch we got a quick lesson on dragon-boating and then headed out on to the lake.
