Two Valley Walk hiking photos, August 24
The day ended up quite hot, but we were able to stay cool by paddling in streams and pools, and by staying in the shade while we walked. The Two Valley walk is in the Ming Tombs area, and crosses the far western end of the Huanghuacheng section of the Great Wall.
Statistics: 2.75 hours hiking (5 hours in total) over 12.2km (average moving speed 4.2km/hr); start and finish height 515m, highest point 543m (by the Great Wall tower), total climbing 412m, total descending 368m. Estimated 1313kCal burned.
