We started the hike at the village called Yaoziyu, and the Ming dynasty Barrack was just located middle of the village, and few old houses inside. The hike was not very long but some part was very steep and slippery, about 2 hours walk on the wall, we have arrived the highest watch tower.

On this hike we followed part of the Huanghuacheng Great Wall towards the reservoir at the Little West Lake.

We walked in to the Walled Village (originally a Ming Dynasty barracks) and then hiked field trails to get on to the wall at Zhuangdaokou.

From there we followed a steep and unrepaired section up into the mountains, heading for the towers above the Little West Lake reservoir.
