Earth Day Clean Up Hike, 2013/04/21
A clean and green team headed out to Dragon Cloud Mountain to clean it up.
For Earth Day 2013, we headed out to Dragon Cloud Mountain to clean up trash and litter left behind by careless visitors and messy film crews.
The area is very scenic, and we visit several times a year to hike. We’d noticed that rubbish was starting to build up and spoil the scenery, so this year we decided our clean up mission would take place at Dragon Cloud Mountain.
We cleaned up above and down below, but only got photos from the clean up on top – sorry about that!
The clean up crew did a great job – thanks to everybody who came along and helped clean up, your hard work was much appreciated! We hiked in the same area a few weeks later, and the difference pre- and post-cleanup was huge!
