Hiking photos – The Rolling Hills, 2012/03/03
Our original plan for this date was to visit Dragon Cloud Mountain, but heavy snow the day before meant that we couldn't get there—the roads were still covered in snow, and our local contacts said that we'd have trouble getting in there.
We decided to do the easy version of our Rolling Hills hike, a countryside stroll through hills and valleys that passes villages, farms, and forests.
It turned out to be a good choice! The snow on the ground made it a little tougher than usual, and the snow-covered scenery was amazing!

The snow was just deep enough to cover up the roots of last year's corn.

The trail through the pine trees was particularly pretty.
